Stella is fresh out of prison and dreaming of what she could do with the degree she earned behind bars, knowing she’s going to have an exceptionally hard time making it happen due to her criminal past. He meets Stella while she’s standing outside his store, judging his window display. But instead of a soccer coach, we get a human ray of country sunshine as the owner of a high end department store in NYC. The delightful Jason Sudeikis character is the inspiration for Aiden. I may or may not have read the whole thing on a flight while hoping the teenager next to me wasn’t trying to read the steamy scenes over my shoulder. You’ve probably seen it all over social media this holiday season, and with good reason. It took a little extra effort, since it’s a self-published novel and a lot of bookstores didn’t have a copy on hand. I love me some Tessa Bailey books, so I was pumped to get my hands on her latest novel, Window Shopping. ![]()
